About the founder/owner/operator
My career in the home improvement industry began when I started working in a custom cabinet shop, building and installing custom cabinetry. I fell in love with the craft. A few years later, I joined Home Depot and managed several different departments until I retired. Through these two experiences, I developed extensive knowledge about home improvement and acquired various skills in a variety of trades through hands-on experience. However, my passion is working with wood. Although I'm older now (50's) and I need to pace myself, I still enjoy tackling my own home projects. I am a true D.I.Y person.
